AC/C TECH maintains a training facility at 4415 Forest Manor Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46226-3080. This facility is used for EPA Certification training and testing, for numerous course introductions and initial training prior to convening at an apartment community, and for individual tutoring. The facility is 50'x24' which houses one general education classroom, a model living quarters, laundry room, restroom, and a storage area for equipment and supplies.
AC/C TECH also maintains a library which is housed in the classroom. There are 273 standard textbooks, numerous reference materials, and approximately 35 instructional videos. Most of the textbooks are technical in nature and directly related to residential and apartment maintenance. Of the 273 textbooks, eighteen are required course books that must be obtained by the students for classes. Additionally, AC/C TECH subscribes to the following publications: THE Journal: Technological Horizons in Education; Home Mechanix: Maintenance Projects and Techniques; Better Homes and Gardens.
Simply stated, AC/C TECH is small insofar as physical size, but huge insofar as training and helping students achieve their objectives -- educational or work-related.
Perhaps it's noteworthy to mention that AC/C TECH will conduct training classes at various apartment communities so that students can obtain maximum exposure in maintaining a facility and different equipment.
